This necklace is very pretty online but in person comes off cheap, plastic and tacky. Very disappointed. I should have known since there was no mention of what the stones were mounted on. The only part that isn't plastic is the extension and clasp. The stones are pretty and this could have been a great necklace, but with an origial price of $60 and even the amazon.com price of $32.99, I expected more. Thanks Amazon for making returns easy.

To start with the necklace is very beautiful and many people gave me a nice compliment while wearing it. After only wearing the necklace a few times the chain broke twice. I used pliers to clamp the chain closed and then the next time I wore the necklace it broke again. Very unhappy that I can't wear it anymore and have not found anywhere to buy another one that is the same or similar.

The Crystal is fine, but the necklace and setting are very cheap your getting about 10% of what you pay for.
out of the box paint was chipping off the back of the setting.
Maybe suttable for a 10 year old, but definetly not real jewelry.

I ordered this for my granddaughter who is a fan of "Titanic" producer James Cameron. I decided that I could present the necklace and tell her a little about the history of the times as well. The Titanic sank on my birth date, so there's yet another reason for an 11-year old to take note. The necklace itself is unbelievably beautiful, and I know it will be worn repeatedly by this child and her younger sister, too. One can only imagine the light in those beautiful blue eyes as this child saw her image in the mirror with the necklace adorning her. Had it been a shoe, she could have been another "Cinderella."
